To all of you that live in London understand how jealous I am of you. There is more history in some of the smallest houses than there is in my whole country. It's amazing to stand in the house of William Shakespeare, to go to Oxford university where most buildings are from the 17th century and earlier. This is a place built in history and set in my mind as the perfect country.

I'm too lazy to diet when it's winter. This weekend I think I'm going out both friday and saturday and then I may get my hair re-weaved. I just don't know.

I want an occasion to wear sequins and a long skirt too. What occasion could that be?

I just bought leather shorts like these from my work, they're a size too small really but leather should be tight, right?

A customer told me I was a prettier version of Florence Welsh today. Super flattered as my hair is ratty and washing out, but what I needed to get it set that I should do my hair and SOON.

So, Wednesday night sitting at home feeling all cool. Not. But I am watching Will & Grace season 4 so that means I'm cool right?

Life is hard. It's really not I'm just a moaner.

I haven't written stuff on here in so long. But since the last big written post I have got into some social media trouble so now I'm super wary. It doesn't help that due to having ADHD I suffer from a lack of "filter" between my brain and mouth. So that is hard. Yeah.

So this weekend I have a PETA party apparently. Which is hard coz, what do you wear? I mean I can't wear my pony-hide Ashish wedges, my fur coat, anything leather or angora for that matter. So what should I wear?

I am also waiting patiently for a black sequin long sleeve dress and a amazing purple 60s style dress both from eBay and the cutest little kitten heel white brogues from TopShop. WHY OH WHY won't they hurry UP!!!!

I'm in a mood to write a story, well not right this second, but recently I've felt the need to write a story.

Currently my life is very messy. And not in the good way of lots of things going on. In the, the clothing store I work out had a water main burst outside and flooded my store with 15cm of muddy water and tomorrow will be the third day of cleaning and at least 2 weeks till my store can open for trade again. Some would be excited but it just means more work.

So I've done a quick inspiration post.

Is it just me, or has The Cure's song "Just like heaven" been re-appearing in tons of tv shows and movies lately??? Don't get me wrong I love the cure so obviously I am thrilled at this fact, but still.

I am currently sitting under air-conditioning as it is roughly 38degrees outside, and that is HOT!! Like when I had a shower the other day my cleanser was hot, my body wash was HOT and I'm not talking warm, I mean BOILING!!! It was creepy and gross!!!

Anywhoo.

This weekend my plan was to go into town for a dance and a boogie on saturday night which has now turned into 3 birthday parties and a confused outfitted and haired me!!!

You see I went to the beach on sunday, now I haven't been into the beachy water in roughly 2 years, and as much as I loved it, I remembered why.

1. I hate sand, those little grains get everywhere and mess everything up.

2. I have hair extensions that don't fair well when wet.

Henceforth when I got home I got Max to cut them out. And so now I am stuck. You see, my hair is at that awkward length where it's at my shoulders and its not long enough to wear out all wavy, but is too long to be a bob. Thats why I have had extensions. And my problem lies there. Because of the ridiculous heat getting extensions means my head will be HEAPS hotter than it would usually get. But my hair is so icky I can't stand it out of a pony tail!!! But I have adopted a slight 50s persona while I can only have my hair up. The flicked eye-liner, the pin up dresses. And thats it for my persona. yup.

Can you tell I hit a wall??

These are a few of my favorite things..

Laying in my own bed, spread out with my laptop and my Will & Grace marathon I've set up for myself. My life is wonderful right now.

Went out last night, but not out, out.. but to dinner and a movie with Michael my best friend whom I never see anymore. We saw The Dilemma, it has to be hands down, the most awkward funny movie I have ever seen in my life.. You know all those moments in movies where they keep a slightly awkward moment go for a minute too long, well these awkward scenes were like 6 minutes long and spine tinglingly uncomfortable. But Channing Tatum is actually REALLY funny!!

Then I came home, went to bed, and here I am..

Do you wanna hear my tale??

It's a tale of two cities, a country pasteur and futuristic beads of sugar.

So lets start at the beginning, roughly 4 weeks ago.

Working early on the morning of the 15th of December I was moving the floor around at my store and unfortunately for me, dropped a heavy wooden shelf smack onto my head. Cracked a little bit of my head open and proceeded to be taken away by the paramedics in the ambulance! Hence the tale of 2 cities that would be my head.

Cue 6 days off work. Boo :(

Now we fast forward to Boxing Day.

I must begin this with the knowledge that for some time I have been Lactose and gluten intolerant, but due to my laziness I've been eating both anyways.

Now, where were we?? Ahh Boxing Day.

So after a lovely and foodless (terrible food at one lunch and I missed the food at the next) Christmas day, where I got my own LAPTOP yay!! I went to bed on Boxing day to prepare for another floor move at 6am the next day, the medium strawberry THICK SHAKE wasn't sitting well, uuummm obviously. And I ended up in hospital with food poisoning. Woot!

Hence, the country pasteurs.

Now we're at the current stage of the futuristic beads.

Because now I'm almost better I obviously can't be well and so now have the FLU!

And that brings us to the futuristic beads of homeopathic goodness I've been taking that are like heaps of teeny balls of sugar that I must take three times a day. YUMMY! Well that is untill the 2 panadols, 4 mouthfuls of cough syrup and goodness knows what else to try and stay upright! But fingers crossed I won't keel over.

Heaps of super boring stuff has happened in between but thats something even the memory loss I will suffer in old age won't bother with.

I hope everyone had a beautiful christmas and new years.

And my thoughts go out to those in Queensland who have been affected by the floods. Keep your chin up, we're Australian, we're made of good stock.

Okay so they're making a US series of Skins apparently. Am I the only one who finds this really pointless and dumb? I mean we know American teens are screwed up just watch Kids. And nothing has changed since the 90s. Movies and Tv and everything! But it's eye-opening to see the behaviour and characters of English teens that made Skins the greatest. What is the point?? I'm all for Americans being them. But they ruin EVERYTHING!! From the Office, to Alfie, to the Italion job (and very nearly Red Dwarf.. Phew). Why do they think they can make them better?? Poms do it best.. In saying that WTF Australia?? We watch the Hills and think we can make our own?? Freshwater Blue or whatever is Bogan Pride with its head screwed on backwards. Someone save us all!!

NO! I can drive, it's EXCITING!!!

And to celebrate..... I'm working the next 6 days STRAIGHT!!! Which means car shopping is going to be compressed into after hours time.. Awesome..

You know when you, get your license and then go shopping for cars, and you want anything, then and there. Doesn't matter what it is, you just want it. Well I was in that mood till I discovered the SHIT cars that are out there for sale, fairly disheartened if I say so meself.. BUT, I did find a Granny-mobile that was fairly cute so thats one possibility. But really, I do just want a car. I feel bad constantly, I say constant even though it's only been 2 days and I've borrowed it twice, asking for the car to go on visits, I say visits, they has been 3. BUT, when I get one it will be full of clothes and white chocolate wrappers, and ribena juice squeezy containers. WOO HOO!!

And it does also mean that I will be WAY more social and be coming out HEAPS, but finally I will be able to be out for as long as I want. As in I'll get semi-dressed up, come out at 10.30pm, and be gone by Midnight, "my parkings up guys", "my Mum needs my car?", "I'm a lazy bitch" will be commonly used phrases. OR I will just Phantom. I'm leaning more towards a Phantom. Yes, Phantom. In the NIGHT!!!

GOODNESS!!

My computer for some reason has not been letting me get into my blogger account for the last 5 days and it has been KILLING me.. I had to use Max's..

SPEAKING OF MAX! My amazing, wonderful, imperfect, spectacular boyfriend not only continues to be wonderful to me whilst work is piling up on my shoulders as Christmas draws closer and I'm in charge of everything. BUT he sent me 12 long stem PINK roses just to make me smile! I"M SO LUCKY!! I didn't think chivalrous men still exsisted but I was WRONG!! I will post photos when my phone stops being gay..

BUT... It is indeed Halloween this weekend and I had grand plans of poison Ivy, the Riddler or anything green and red, that wasn't Christmas. But due to lack of real party plans, and fear of doing what I did last year and not actually go INSIDE anywhere but just walk around dressed as a zombie bride. I've decided to do a TWIGGY theme!! Fake lashes, A-Line dress with buttons, Miu Miu Heels and (due too having lone hair) a long briad perfectly hair sprayed. If you have any suggestions I am open..

I haven't been out too party in WEEKS now and it's driving me insane.. So as Halloween is next weekend I am going too go all out.. Even if I just go out for a few hours at least I'll be out.. I am currently in mid obsession with all things Disney. It sprouted from the Disney Facts app for my iPhone I got the other day. Best app ever!! Like did you know Wall-E was planned and outlined before Toy Story was completed in 1995, but production did not resume on the film untill 2003?

Or that the vultures in The Jungle Book were originally meant to be voiced by the beatles, but due to scheduling at the last minute had to pull out? OR that the directors of The Little Mermaid insisted that every single underwater bubble be hand drawn, not copied. And that illustrators for Fantasia weren't instructed which colours to use. They were told to use the colours they wanted. Imagine working for someone with such vision like Walt Disney. Or for the company he created and the world he built. That is a dream of mine.

And so now I have become disney-crazy! And also due to getting a new TV/DVD player in my room have hired these films in the past week. Nice.

These will be my new favourite things ever, ever. I decided against the red TopShop lovelies as they were a tad too pricey ( I'm Skint) and I just wasn't sure. But when I saw these babies I knew it was love.. I love pink. I love crystals (note NOT bling.. Crystal, or a knock off, but my shoes will NOT have bling) and as soon as I saw them I bought them, a true sign of a love affair. Miu Miu know how to make me happy and gleeful.. Now I gotta wait.

I've been umming and aaahhhiing over these top shop wedges for weeks now and I still can't muster up the motivation to get them. Which is strange for me as I love my shoes. But I have been looking at them for like 3 weeks now and still haven't got them. I have the money I just can't be bothered. And I'm worried that, contrary to popular belief where if you can't stop thinking about something it should be yours, I'm an impulse shopper who sees it, loves it, buys it. So I've seen it, loved it, but somethings holding me back. Hhhhmmm. Oh and they are scarlett red wedges with chiffon bandaging around the foot. Hhhmmm. Maybe I should.

Oh and I really want to do my hair to one side and MADLY boofy like this girl.

Oh and I have a really cute black skirt like the second last photo but the zip is broken so I think I may have to get it fixed.. And SOON!!

I was asked the other week by Emma-Kate from www.17andalwaysdreaming.blogspot.com to show more photos of what I look like. And as much as I am trying I come up with two slight problems.

1-I think I look terrible in photos coz I don't have a "photogenic" face.

and

2-To make up for that I pull ridiculous faces.

So when I meet up with Elvis Di Fazio at Gay Bash last weekend I did both of those things whilst trying to show off my DIY shoes.. If you can kind of see them they are mostly covered in BUTTONS!! Because I have a strange obsession with buttons.. So much so I want to go home now and cover more things in buttons with my mummy. I get all my creativity from my mum and growing up we did everything imaginable craft wise. From painting everything in the house (well, nearly) to covering things in feathers, popcorn, beads, gluey newspaper and so on. So I love doing little things with her like this. When I get home I will post more shots of the shoes because they were a HUGE hit with everyone who saw them. Even the randoms on the street who pointed and told their friends. I may sound conceited but I have flaming red hair so am used to people pointing and either raising the subject with their friends in a nice or evil way, or exclaiming super loudly their opinion in name calling. Meh. Sticks and stones may break my bones, but my words will make you wish you kept your mouth shut.. Ha ha kidding!!

Rahhhhhh Rahhhhh.. SO over it... Worked 53 hours last week over 6 days setting up the new store. And now I'm in a new store and have a full team of staff to train, on my own. Feck. Coupled with the fact that I'm closing in on my hours for my P's license, which means I'm driving my bum off in the short amount of time I have off. Coupled with my boyfriend being super sick all weekend, which I loved taking care of him I really did coz he's so cute and vulnerable, which if you've ever met him is a RARE quality. So now this week I'm working Monday to Friday and I have the whole weekend off. And it's my best friend Amy's birthday on Thursday. So, I'm preparing as always way, way, way too early.

These are my beautiful new shoes, as new as 3 weeks old, and they are so pretty, yet REALLY painful, that I am now trying to co-ordinate them into all of my outfits.
Knee high socks and my new shoes will hopefully save my feeties..

I already had to catch the 30minute bus to Max's in silence yesterday and it looks like the 80 minute bus and train journey home will be in the same vein. Garrrrr... This post is in a lot of ways, For Anneka and Bianca. Anneka, because she loves my dormant blogger account which will all of a sudden BURST into a frenzy of pictures. And Bianca for the sound advice she seems to give me so frequently she needs to write a book.

Today is the first saturday I have had off in around 3 months, I believe. Now it's also the first time in nearly 2 months that I've actually got not only 2 days off in a row but 3 days off in a row. So I'm a little excited. Not so excited that I'm willingly awake at 7.17AM on my day off but hey, I'm in pain so my body woke me up.

So tonight is the much anticipated return for myself and all my oneLove family to it's rightful home at Tank nightclub in Sydney. It will not be oneLove anymore, more Fake. A 'new and improved' saturday night party. All I know is they've taken out my bed from the VIP area and replaced it with a huge couch. Now my lovely Petal Holly did say the other day that the couch is more open and welcoming, to which I responded that I will make it for my friends only no matter what. Oh and some girls from my work are maybe coming too which will be interesting to see the groups combine.

Now even though I can't show them now, I did buy a pair of the most incredible shoes I have ever purchased in my life. Now I don't want to spoil the surprise with a terrible description so I'll wait till I can upload the photos. Probably tomorrow.

So my outfit plan for tonight is as follows.

-Long, long, long grey Faux fur coat I found in my Mothers wardrobe

-Bright orange strapless dress from my old work/A yellow dress I'm on the hunt for today.

-My new shoes

-Possibly my hair down with my black headband just like Miss M K Olsen.

So, due to my parents not being super internet savvy my internet speed now runs slower than dial up. You see we have the lowest download limit I've ever heard of so when I started buying episodes of house from iTunes it seems to have gone RIGHT over our limit. So I've not had internet at home in around 2 weeks. Checking my facebook on my iPhone is not much fun and there's no way I could post anything on here on my phone either. So that leaves me with the option of using Max's internet in the short time I'm here.

So, this weekend is going to be superb. Not only is it my first 2 days off in a row in weeks, but it's also the launch of Fake at Tank nightclub in Sydney and I'm so super excited. Tank is where a huge chunk of my friends and I met for the first time. It brings people together in the 'VIP' area, which isn't really but I make it so.

Also, this weekend could very well see me move up and up and up in my company. I've been asked to travel 4 hours out of Sydney to set up the new Forever New store in Charlestown, Newcastle. If I'm allowed to go, by my manager, it would be the second store in a week that I've helped set up this week, after Top Ryde Sydney. And hopefully in 2 weeks I can help open Warringah Mall. Oh and the 4 hour drive would include staying overnight there. ha ha ha. I'm so excited. This is something I never thought I could do but I'm being given this opportunity and I'm pumped.

Small picture vomit as it's been a while. I did it. I finally sucked it up and did it.. I now have hair 22INCHES long... I can nearly sit on the suckers.. Well not at all but it's heaps long. I need to do my make-up before I take a photo. I started work at 6AM yesterday so finished at 3PM and treked it on the train out to the middle of nowhere we like to call Bankstown. Now if you live in Sydney you've probably heard of the wonderful ladies of several hair salons in Bankstown, or know someone who goes, or go yourself. Now I myself am loyal to Kate's hair in Bankstown as for the 2 rows of 22inch and 1 row of 18inch real human hair only set me back $280. It's woven in and i know it's real because I tested it as I always do. You take a strand and burn it, if it's plastic it will melt together, if it's human hair it sizzles up and smells FOUL. Also I dyed it, and you can't dye plastic now can you. Or can you and I just looked really dumb. Oh well. Considering I actually have hair just past my shoulders, barely, this is a MASSIVE change and it's going to take a minute of two to get used too. Also it's my best friends birthday tomorrow, and I'm in a pickle. Now his friends ARE NOT my friends. And they are fairly difficult to get along with people at the best of times. Now his boyfriend on the other hand is awesome and I love him, yahda yahda yahda. Now for Michael's birthday party he's organized bowling on saturday, which is $60 per person for games, food (burgers, hot dogs, pizza) and alcohol. Now this is awesome if I could eat any of the food or if I drank alcohol. And now the bigger spanner is his boyfriend isn't going as he'd rather go to laser skirmish with his other friends, and my boyfriend as decided as he knows no one there he's not going to come. So my pickle is, I go and be there for my best friend (who didn't come to my birthday dinner this year, but has been my longest standing friend of my life) and have no one to talk to or hang out with and nothing to eat while I watch everyone get pissed, or don't go and possibly upset him. But I will see him out afterwards which is good.Oh who am I kidding he won't even care as I'll take him out myself next week and get him loose. Ahhh problem solved. Thanks blogger, I really did work it all out. Now I've got to figure out what to wear. SHIT!!!

My hair is gross and short after I cut my extensions out last week. And now I'm torn as to if I bus, train and train it out to get new ones put back in so I can have splendid hair like her. But right now I'm at Max's house and it's perfect snuggling weather but he's at work. So as I have no car/license. I'm too lazy to travel. But I will still have to catch 2 buses to get near the station to train it home. So either way I'm on two buses and a train. That is if I catch the right train, I may need to get two of them too. You know that feeling you get when the person you like sends you a message? Or calls you? Or even smiles and tickles you? That feeling of butterflies in your tummy flapping round and round.

Then imagine that feeling everyday, and every night. That's what I get with the silly boy below. He makes me laugh, cry, scream in anger, scream in happiness, see a whole world of love, want to punch him, want to never let him go, let him do what he wants, feel like the most loved individual ever. He senses when he thinks I think he's not appreciating me enough and goes above and beyond to make it right. Like Friday night, he drove all the way to mine before going out just to say hello and give me snuggles. Then when I asked what he was doing the next day he said "waiting for you to finish work". It's moments like then that I feel like the luckiest girl alive. Topped off with that he made me dinner on Saturday while I got ready, Chicken Kiev with garlic bread, potato gems and salad.

I truly am the luckiest girl ever.

Sitting in the shadows of the day outside I feel a sense of joy and wonderment at the life I lead. I adore every aspect of my life. I make mistakes just like everyone, and apologize when I'm wrong. I count on myself to say what I think, sure it gets me into trouble, but it is part of me. Now today is exciting for me, coz it's one week till my BIRTHDAY!! And last night I booked a lovely weekend away for me and Max at the cottage up top! How cute is it!!! Never before have I seen such beauty in crystals, since the Dark Crystal itself. This was Romance was borns 10' show and once again they delivered, and shot it out of the sky. I wouldn't go running round calling myself the biggest fan of Skins, as I know there are hardcore fans out their that deserve such a title more than me, hell I haven't even seen the whole new season yet. But I do highly enjoy every second of it. It's a tv show you'd never expect with emotions you know all too well but would prefer to squash. I never got into the first and second seasons but as soon as I got the third I watched it back to back over about 3 days. And I remember ages ago reading an article that said that Effie was the only main cast member who had done work before, the rest of the cast came from open auditions advertised in the paper, as they wanted REAL kids this time. And boy did it work out for them.

This shot of Effie always gives me goose bumps. She isn't holding anything back, she cries like every girl has cried when it feels like it's all over and you need to give up.

Went out last night and had possibly the BEST night with the BEST people in MONTHS!!

Last week Max sat me down and made me realize a couple of things. Not only had I shut down most of my friends and clunge to him and him alone on nights out, I had killed all my independence that I prided myself on having in my life and relationship. I gave up on some people as I didn't want to bother trying to be their friend. But nothing thats worthy is not worth trying for, otherwise it would be easy and boring. Friends are there for you when you need them, but they are not mind readers. Just because you're angry at them, doesn't mean they realize this. Everyone needs space. Everyone needs a friend. Everyone needs love. And they do all combine, every day. Friends are friends because you choose each other, based on your interests, your style, your admiration for the other, the list goes on. Either your mutual friends introduce you, you meet through work, or on the street or at an event at Cabana bar randomly, or when you turn up to their house after Parklife. Everyone needs to put some effort in, I sure did, and I am reaping the benefits. In this quest to patch up friendships I have also come to the realization that, I was a MASSIVE bitch, not just too strangers regarding their outfit, but to my friends in general. I never had anything good to say to them, and I was always snapping at people. So I did the only thing I could do. I pulled my head OUT of my bum. I apologized. I am working on my attitude, and it's working. Not the attitude that I'm awesome, because I know I am. But the attitude that everyone is special to me. And I should treat them that way. Otherwise I'll just be following Max around every weekend hating life. Instead of hanging out with my daughter Chelsea (Not ACTAUL daughter, but best friend) and seeing people I haven't and doing things I haven't. And staying up all night with Anneka, Bianka, Max, Benny and Parhas. What fun a night we had indeed.

What I am saying is. I admitted I was wrong. I now put in the effort. And if you need to put in effort, a lot of the time it's worth it. Can't have sex without forplay can you??

Walking through an opening I haven't seen in years I don't care to number. I look around at what's new and different, and everything looks exactly as I left it. The trees huddled together around the risen tree roots which I used to make my tea party table. The mushrooms are still over grown across the luscious green grass, so much so you'd think they had been scattered there on purpose. The tiny purple flowers lay thick amongst the grass and all up the gathered trees, like a fairy had planted them so. But I can't help noticing a difference in the air. A sort of, uneasiness surrounding me. Something here has lost it's charm, it's care free manner, it's innocence. But to me everything is right, down to the last detail, just as I remembered. In the days where I would spend hours down here, to escape. Running round with my imagination as my guide. I would fight battles, save princes (silly boys), have tea with visiting royal families, whatever I wanted to do in my magical garden, I could. No one ever judged me, as they weren't there to see me. No one ever told me I wasn't achieving enough, as they couldn't see the battles I was winning. People didn't expect more from me than I of myself, because I was happy.

And as I stand here now I realize the change. In me.

I am not who I was the last time I came here. I am not who people want me to be, but I am not want I want me to be either. I am happy just surviving. Not winning battles, or saving lives, but just living. Where did the fire in me go? Where did the passion disappear to? In a sea of excuses, shrouded in ignorance.

I could do no wrong as a child. And now I feel I can do no right as an adult. I need to find the freedom I felt in this landscape of magic. I need to find my path there, and to a new home. I cannot be who I was then, but I cannot be who I am now.

So over this shit hey. Over being expected to be denied of sleep every weekend. So sick of being put second behind pathetic activities. So sick of being made to feel selfish by wanting to do nice things on my days off. So over everyone else moving forward and me struggling to plan ANYTHING worthwhile. Yes I may be being selfish. And yes the timing of my days is in some ways innapropriate. But get over it. What would be my dream? To actually book a 2 week holiday to London. Then the second I'm back, move out and get pregnant. So I at least have an excuse to stay in like I want to. I'm sick of feeling second best. I want the feeling of being pregnant. I'm the cluckiest woman on the planet but that's all I want. To be at home at night while he goes out, and feed my baby belly and experience the unconditional love I will feel. I'm not saying this in an attention seeking "I feel unloved" way. I'm saying it because that is what I want. I can't explain it further. I feel so happy in my love. I want to make it bigger. NO I'M NOT SERIOUSLY GOING TO FALL PREGNANT. I'm not that dumb. I'm aware I'm not even 24 and would hate it being stuck at home ALL the time. But it's days like today where I feel like it's my servant duty to accompany people to the cross EVERY saturday night. Even when they promise to stay in and watch movies with me. EVERYONE has a real job. GET ONE! Angry posts make for a sad Giselle. But how else do I explain how I feel, to the whole world wide web.

OVER IT!!!

Over nothing actually, well my intollerances really. To food and people. Gggrrr... Work is awesome. Kinda got a promotion thingy/role change, so thats SUPER exciting. Had my manager and 2IC have a meeting with me yesterday and they said heaps of stuff, like good and bad, but nothing unwarranted. AND then said they think I'm ACE and have created a role for me. But it's on the D-L atm. SO EXCITED!!! And heaps of people have been really excited for me which is awesome, one was too tired to show any enthusiasm but I'm sure it's there somewhere. Anyhoo, gotta post my Easter show shots. HEAPS great day.

Just watched a short biography on Brigitte Bardot on Foxtel. And it made me fall in love with her all over again.
